Hi, I'm Chaquira from sunny Miami, Florida! ☀️ I currently work as an Operations Specialist at the Apple Store. Outside of work, I love drawing, reading fantasy novels, volunteering at my local church, going on long walks, traveling, and spending time with the people I care about. Growing up, I was always passionate about art and problem-solving. One day, I hope to give back to my community and support a nonprofit where young women can express their creativity in a safe space.
I discovered UX Design in 2023. Although I graduated with a degree in Information Technology, I taught myself UX Design and earned a certification from Coursera's Google UX Design course that same year. Since then, I've been honing my skills by working on solo projects. I've been working at the Apple Store since 2017! I worked as a product zone specialist, retail at home advisor, operations specialist, as well as interned remotely as a product designer for Apple Maps!
Current Hobbies
I love reading and drawing on my iPad! I use procreate to create my art, I also have a 10 month of hamster named Ditto.
